All things Argentine tango on campus and beyond
We are a student-run tango club dedicated to creating community and connection through Argentine tango.
The Princeton Tango Club will be hosting our annual festival, Intercambio de Tango, January 23rd-25th, 2026! Click HERE for information and registration.
Intercambio is a tango event built around the concept of community exchange: exchanging stories during the welcome dinner and community brunches; exchanging information and ideas through classes, workshops, and practicas; literal exchanges—there will be a clothing and shoe swap; exchanging hugs and warm embraces during the milongas; and an exchange between communities—last year we had both strong representation from university students from 10 different university clubs, and from the broader tango community all across the US. Our goal for this event is to create a space where, whether it is your first tango event, or you have been dancing for decades, you feel connected to a supportive tango community.
Mondays are for learning tango, and we have classes for all levels. Are you curious about tango, want to learn a partner dance, or want to polish your fundamentals? Then, this is your place. Check our schedule and join the classes that best fit your interests.
A weekly practice is held on Sundays in the NGC common room, where we hang out and try out new (and not so new) steps.
Enjoying the weather outside, celebrating the end of the semester, and celebrating the middle of the semester. Everything is a good excuse to throw out a social dancing event. Or, as it is called, a Milonga.
From time to time we will also have invited artists to host private lessons and workshops, where students from all neighbouring universities are welcome to join. Let's keep the community growing :)
We are getting ready to host our 2nd edition of Intercambio, Jan 23rd-25th 2026. A university tango festival, where university students from all around gather and share their joy for tango and the secrets of their favorite moves.
We also organize an annual trip to our 2nd favourite festival, the Yale Tango Festival.
Want to become a tango DJ? Great! We also want you to become a DJ. Check our DJ-ing opportunities and stay tuned for our upcoming trainings.
